Dominant performance in Lahr against Pezhman Seifkhan

Labinot Xhoxhaj successfully defended his European Boxing Union (EBU) title. In the main event in Lahr, the champion dominated from the opening bell against Sweden’s Pezhman Seifkhan.

Xhoxhaj controlled the action with clean, precise punches and set the tone early. Time and again, the smaller Xhoxhaj found his target with powerful combinations, forcing Seifkhan onto the defensive. The challenger struggled to cope with the champion’s pace and physical presence.

The decisive moment came in the fourth round. After a series of heavy shots, Seifkhan was dropped for the first time. The Swede managed to get back to his feet, but Xhoxhaj continued pressing aggressively and scored another knockdown. Severely hurt, Seifkhan was unable to rise in time, prompting the referee to stop the contest and declare Xhoxhaj the winner by knockout.

With this victory, the European champion celebrates his 22nd professional win and emphatically underlines his ambitions in the heavyweight division. The dominant title defense significantly strengthens his position in the international rankings – BoxRec now lists him at #25 in the world!
