The former world champion defeated Vaclav Pejsar in Halle (NRW) after ten rounds. More fights are expected to follow.
On Saturday, German boxing icon Marco Huck (44-5-1) returned to the ring. The long-time cruiserweight world champion looks back on a glorious career and aims to add further successful chapters. A comeback is underway, with the first step taking place at the Heristo Arena in Halle (NRW), where Huck sought to put himself back on the map with a victory.
Since his defeat in September 2017 to boxing superstar Oleksandr Usyk, things had gone quieter around Marco Huck. However, in the lead-up to his comeback, he appeared more determined than ever to make a serious sporting return. His opponent was the reigning Czech champion Vaclav Pejsar (26-23), a fighter with a mixed record who nevertheless did not appear entirely outmatched on paper and came to Germany ready to fight — as he ultimately proved.
